Uhm, no, I don't think I've seen anything quite like that before in Anime.

If you're going for a similar feel I would suggest Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan. I have a thread about that. The bandana and sort of tank/mech + hot chick combo has me thinking that they might be remotely similar.

Hmmmm.... and I'd like to think I know about this stuff! I really couldn't tell you; nothing comes to mind. I mean, there are a few scenes in Gurren Lagaan where they're are anthro anteaters with guns, but eh... not enough. I wouldn't even call it a furry anime really. Let me know if you figure something out.

Yeah. I think that if such a show existed, we would most definitely know about it by know. Also, a Star Fox anime would blow my mind.

Sadly most anime don't portray anthro characters like this pic does, unlike western shows - a pity since they have great animation. And most recent western shows just lack furries, again a pity.

The closest thing to this in recent animation were the Blizarrians in the cartoon Storm Hawks - there is a white wolf-like furry chick and some guys, they make a few appearances on that cell-shaded show.
